Rephstar was born in the early 80’s, on the island of Manhattan.  Since then he has been creating creative chaos wherever, whenever, and in whatever medium he chooses.  From music production to mural painting, to fashion design, nothing is out of bounds and anything can happen when he is involved. His skills in the visual arts and music were developed through graff’n and cyphering on the block daily.  That coupled with a passion for technology, history and social change is what led him to the work he is doing today.  He visions this work as a reflection of the human experience through the eyes of the Hip-Hop generations. These days he can be found in and around NYC hosting MC cyphers and in the studio working with the arts collectives, New School Artists and The Rhyme Factory.
